Every now and again, it’s nice to get riled up by some of Hitch’s incendiary and forceful rhetoric. The second half of this video covers Hitchens’ well-worn views on religion, but the first part is one of the most eloquent condemnations of censorship you’ll ever see.
*He does invoke John Stuart Mill however, and I’d be curious to see his response to Mill’s assertion that low-value speech — speech that does not necessarily make truth claims — can be restricted.
